Human mouth microbiota before and after kissing.
EN Each interaction changes us, enriches us, connects us to unimaginable levels. In a single kiss we exchange 80 million microorganisms. The kiss is part of the Weareone photographic series, a record work of the Petri dishes produced as part of an investigation carried out with the collaboration of the Physiology, Genetics and Microbiology Department of the University of Alicante and the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department of the UMH. With their help, the microbial footprint of different groups of subjects was cultivated, collected before and after having different interactions to make visible the poetics of the scope of our daily contacts

SP Cada interacción nos cambia, nos enriquece, nos conecta a niveles inimaginables. En un único beso intercambiamos 80 millones de microorganismos. El beso forma parte de la serie fotográfica Weareone, un trabajo de registro de las placas de Petri producidas como parte de una investigación realizada con la colaboración del Dto. de Fisiología, Genética y Microbiología de la Universidad de Alicante y el Dto. de Bioquímica y Biología Molecular de la UMH. Con su ayuda se cultivó la huella microbiana de diferentes grupos de sujetos, recogida antes y después de tener distintas interacciones para hacer visible la poética del alcance de nuestros contactos diarios.
El beso muestra la huella microbiana oral de una persona antes y después de haber dado un beso en la boca. “La actividad de un “nosotros” trasciende la propia acción del beso para convertirse en una comunidad más allá de nuestra forma humana representando los diferentes modos de existencia” (Johanna Caplliure, comisaria).
