EN Work done for The IMID Art Project of AbbVie and the Chair of Art and Disease of the UPV to make diseases such as psoriasis visible. Interviews with patients revealed that their greatest concern was social rejection, due to the revulsion caused by skin lesions. This work tried to favor standardization. The work was conceived as an advertising campaign where the product shows a skin where the word NORMAL has been constructed with psoriasis lesions. The badgets are used for the propagation of the message as if it were a disease.
SP Obra realizada para The IMID Art Project de AbbVie y la Cátedra de Arte y Enfermedad de la UPV para visibilizar enfermedades autoinmunes como la psoriasis. Las entrevistas con pacientes revelaron que su mayor preocupación era el rechazo social, debido a la repulsión que suscitan las lesiones cutáneas. En este trabajo se trató de favorecer la normalización. Se concibió la obra como una campaña publicitaria donde el producto muestra una piel donde la palabra NORMAL se ha construido con lesiones de psoriasis. El formato chapa favorece la propagación del mensaje como si se tratara de una enfermedad.
