EN "I can not see it, but it is deep ..." the phrase of an interviewee in the work The Wound, gave rise to this piece in which I returned to the study and to the analysis of my body from the inside. I accessed an electronic scanning microscope in the archeology department of University College London and I observed my blood through an , where, according to some cultures, the soul resides and, metaphorically, has a powerful symbolism of life, death, pain and meaning of belonging. The microscope revealed an authentic universe, a world within the world whose transcendence invites us to overcome existential anguish. The photographs were shown projected on the ceiling, so that the viewer could lie or sit on the floor to relax and lose himself in the ineffable, as one who looks at the stars.
SP “No puedo verlo, pero es profundo…” la frase de un entrevistado en la obra La Herida, dio origen a esta pieza donde regresé al estudio y análisis de mi cuerpo desde el interior. A través de un microscopio de barrido electrónico observé mi sangre, donde según algunas culturas reside el alma y que metafóricamente tiene una potente simbología de vida, muerte, dolor y sentido de pertenencia. El microscopio reveló un auténtico universo, un mundo dentro del mundo cuya trascendencia invita a la superación de la angustia existencial. Las fotografías se expusieron proyectadas en el techo, de manera que el espectador pudiera tumbarse o sentarse en el suelo a relajarse perdiéndose en lo inefable, como quien mira las estrellas. Obra realizada con la colaboración del Departamento de Arqueología del University College de Londres.
